Not to mention the risks faced by the members also evolve with global changes, such as the pandemic and climate change.
PASAY CITY – On 30 January 2020 (THURSDAY), the Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP), also known as RIMANSI, organized the National Microinsurance Forum at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.
QUEZON CITY, MANILA — On 20 January 2020 (MONDAY), the Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP), also known as RIMANSI, marked the start of the 3rd phase of the Citi Project. MiMAP—in partnership with Citi Foundation—conducted a Needs Assessment for Member Education and Management Information System (MIS) at the Kasagana-Ka MBA Member Center building in Quezon City, Manila.
Sorsogon—From May 21–22, 2019, Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP also known as RIMANSI) facilitated the PALMFSI-CARE MBA Partnership Review to assess the status of the partnership of two institutions by looking at the accomplishments and objectives met.
The Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP also known as RIMANSI) attended the respective Annual General Meetings (AGM) of CARE MBA and NSCC MBA to primarily provide a lecture on microinsurance to the general membership of the microinsurance MBAs.
Quezon City—On April 23, 2019, the Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP, also known as RIMANSI) conducted its Annual Statement Workshop for member microinsurance MBAs to aid them in the preparation and review of required annual submissions to the Insurance Commission (IC).
Leyte—On March 28, 2019, fifty-six (56) sari-sari storeowners participated in games and activities that teach risk-managing financial services and business resilience.
TANAY, RIZAL— Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP, also known as RIMANSI) had the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) from March 20 to 22 of 2019. Around 60 board and staff from the association and its network of Mi-MBAs were in attendance.
PASIG—On March 20, 2019, Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP, also known as RIMANSI) held a Learning Session at the Ace Hotel & Suites in Pasig City. The learning session titled “Investment Strategy and Policy Development” took place during day one of the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
TACLOBAN — Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP, also known as RIMANSI) organized a microinsurance training for 19 Insurance, Savings and Loan Advocate (ISLA) facilitators from Leyte on February 07-08, 2019 at the Ritz Tower de Leyte, Tacloban City.
Pasig—For the first half of 2019, 218 select CARD MRI members and staff visited the Microinsurance MBA Association of the Philippines (MiMAP, also known as RIMANSI).
Eastern Visayas—Insurance, Savings and Loan Advocates (ISLAs) from Samar and Leyte had their respective share-out meetings on December 01–09 & 11, 2018 (Samar) and April 23–May 03 & June 02, 2019 (Leyte) after the first cycle of operations.
